"M.E.N. Incorporated recently started using Sterling Volunteers as our vendor for background checks for mentors... I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with their customer service and the overall ease of use for the website. Before using Sterling we were using several local and national sites to pull background information on our mentors. The entire process would take hours and sometimes days…to ensure we had the correct information. Since using Sterling, we have had no need to pull additional hours to research and track down a potential mentor's criminal history. Most recently, we had a potential mentor that changed his name. I personally feel that without Sterling Volunteers being as thorough as they were, we would have missed this and the criminal history associated with that name. I strongly recommend programs using Sterling, I can wholeheartedly say they are the experts that will get you a clear picture of your volunteers and staff."
